The Happy List

"How to be happy? Decide every morning that you are in a good mood."

When you're feeling down in the dumps, it can be hard to get yourself out of it. That's why I think it is so important to have a happy list.

A list to remind you of all the things that make you feel good.  I recommend you to write your own Happy List but you can also take mine as inspiration. If you're not feeling your 100% best, try some of the things on my list and see if they get you vibrating at your highest level.

  1. Go for a walk in nature.
  2. Write in your journal. Get all those thoughts out your head.
  3. Have a pamper session. Deep condition your hair, paint your nails, do a face mask. Make yourself feel good on the outside.
  4. Put your speaker on and blast your favourite music.
  5. Listen to a self-growth podcast. 
  6. Put on your favourite movie.
  7. Invite your friends round for some company and a chat session.
  8. Make yourself your favourite meal.
  9. Read a book that makes you feel good or escape.
  10. Take a nap if you're feeling exhausted.
  11. Meditate for at least 5 minutes to calm your mind.
  12. Catch up on one of your favourite YouTubers videos.
  13. Get creative, draw, paint, whatever gets your creative juices flowing.
  14. Watch motivational, mind-shift videos.
  15. Practice your spirituality, speak to your God.
  16. Go out for a coffee with a loved one.
  17. Clean your house, make your space comfortable and peaceful.
  18. Go for a swim.
  19. Have a cuddle with the one you love.
  20. Stretch out your body, move, dance, get active.
  21. Write down 5 things you are grateful to have in your life right now.
  22. Have a cuddle with your pet, give them some love and attention and you'll get it right back!
  23. Detox from social media. Stop aimlessly scrolling through content and detach.
  24. Breathe. Deep, intentional breaths.
  25. Smile.

When I'm having a hard day, everything on this list can instantly make me feel a bit better. I hope this can help you in some way.
