How to Stick to Your New Year Goals

Happy New Year! First blog post of the new year, so I thought it would be fitting to write about how to stick to your new years resolutions. It's easy to forget about your goals a few weeks into January, but this year we are going to go for it and tick off all our resolutions, finally!



WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS & BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT

First things first. Write down your goals, physically writing onto paper is the best way to really set an intention rather than just thinking about it. Then you will be able to stick this up on the wall and be able to see it everyday.
When you're writing your goals for the new year it is important to be specific and write down exactly what you want. For example if you want to 'Exercise and loose weight' how about write down 'Join the gym and workout 3 times a week, aim to loose 14lbs by March.' Be specific! It's better to be clear and have something to work from.


20 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS??

Keep your goal list small. If you have a list of New Year Resolutions that run two pages into your notebook, you need to cut it! Stick to having 3-5. That means you can focus and work hard on each goal equally, without feeling overwhelmed and wanting to give up on it all.


WHAT IS YOUR WHY?

Figuring out what your 'Why' is, Is the a huge way to keep you on track with your goals. Having a real reason to do something is what keeps you doing it! Why is your goal to 'Start your online business this year'? So I can earn money from anywhere in the world and travel and live my best life! Having a clear why is something you can always come back to and remember why you set this goal in the first place.


...OH WELL, THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR

Sometimes you fall off track, been super busy and forget to do what you've set out for yourself. It's OKAY, don't fall into the mind set of 'I've messed up so i'll forget about all of it and try again next year'. There is no need to wait for next year, because every day is a new day! Keep on going and you'll feel proud of yourself for completing what you set out to do.



You can conquer anything you have set out for yourself, you just have to believe! 2018 is your year to make a change, do what you wanna do, be who you've always wanted to be.
